Jessica and Patrick were young, active newlyweds when they were both critically injured in the Boston Marathon Bombing. After years of surgeries and rehabilitation, they have been able to regain strength and independence with the help of their occupational therapists. As blast trauma amputees, their recoveries have been long and challenging as they have moved through many different stages and decisions. Occupational therapists have been with them on this journey to help them maximize their independence and learn to adjust to their news lives.
