In this important CE on CD presentation, contributing authors to both the original and revised editions of the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework: Domain and Process explore ways in which the document supports occupational therapy practitioners by providing a holistic view of the profession.

Through a series of questions and answers, the origination and application of the Framework is discussed by a panel of leading experts that include present and past chairs of the AOTA Commission on Practice, a past president of AOTA, a co-editor of Willard and Spackman, 11^th Edition, and consultants to the Framework revision process.

The CD contains an audio presentation accompanied by a rich visual media presentation designed to reinforce the audio portion of the course. A version of the media presentation suitable for printing and note taking is included.

Course material is organized in two sections. Part I highlights the relationship of the Framework to models and theories, categories within the domain and process, concepts of occupation and co-occupation, and the importance of occupation within diverse areas of practice. Part II features the applicationof Framework in practice, including issues such as the importance of sleep related to occupation, the expansion of performance skills, expansion of interventions for populations and organizations, and achieving meaningful outcomes.
