This journal club will discuss Comprehensive Effects of Occupational Therapy Using Ayres Sensory Integration® in Children With ADHD: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

This journal club discussion will explore the efficacy of using Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) with children diagnosed with ADHD. The discussion will evaluate this randomized controlled trial (RCT) to determine key clinical takeaways and directions for future research.

We aim for participants to leave the discussion with (1) the skills required to analyze an RCT study and (2) clinical implication from this study’s findings relevant to their practice areas.

This chat will be guided by Sarah Cheatham Oberle, OTD, OTR/L, a member of the Children and Youth Special Interest Section, Course Director for pediatrics courses at Washington University in St. Louis, and developer of cognitive support programs for children and families.

We welcome individuals at all levels, from those with introductory knowledge on ASI® and ADHD to seasoned experts.

This call will not be recorded.
