Ensuring student safety preparedness for Level II experiences is a collaborative process and essential for student success. Our program used the Ecology of Human Performance model to guide the development of a safety check for second-year students using two methods: acute care simulations and a knowledge exam. Through this process, students identified remediation areas, and faculty identified gaps within the curriculum.
