In an effort to reduce variability of practice, an Interdisciplinary Stroke Assessment Battery (ISAB) was developed on the basis of a review of the literature, clinical practice guidelines, and the nuances specific to this Mayo Clinic practice setting. This project establishes an evidence- and consensus-based approach across interdisciplinary rehabilitation professionals. The use of the ISAB has improved development of goal-directed care planning and facilitated a more thorough patient assessment.
