Description:
Medicare providers in post-acute-care settings are required to report standardized data through their clients' assessments. Through this session, attendees will advance their knowledge about functional outcome measures calculated through post-acute-care assessments and opportunities to demonstrate their distinct value in assessment and transition-planning. Attendees will learn to develop action plans to support assessment accuracy and team collaboration and facilitate successful care transitions.
This course will also offer an opportunity to complete an assessment on a case study and then score it with a tool provided within the course module.
Learning objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
Demonstrate application of accurate scoring of Section GG and other standardized data elements.
Describe the relationship of Section GG and quality initiatives in promoting positive functional outcomes in post-acute-care settings.
Develop action plans to effectively position OTs in the post-acute-care marketplace through support and promotion of successful outcomes.
