This course highlights the importance of interprofessional collaboration within public education services for Multi-tiered Systems of Support, including referrals and evaluations for special education. Implementation of embedded, collaborative services are shared. Data collection for decision-making is also discussed.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1) Recognize the definition of interprofessional collaborative practice and identify two examples.
2) Explain the Multi-tiered systems of supports 3-tier process, including use of data for decision-making.
3) Describe two system barriers and two supports for interprofessional teams in MTSS
