Description:
This comprehensive exam review course has been created to assist therapists planning to sit for the AOTA Board Certification in Pediatrics exam with their test preparations.
The course is divided into 6 modules, each dedicated to a specific component of pediatric practice. Each module contains 10-20 short, narrated lessons as well as the power point handouts for downloading. Resources for additional study are also provided.
Modules also contain a pre-and post exam on the topic being covered. It is suggested that you take the pre-test prior to content review to gauge your current knowledge and then at the end of your studies to determine knowledge acquisition. You can also use the pre test feature to help prioritize your content review based on your test grade.
This is a self paced and self directed program- you can access and review as few or as many of the modules and resources as you like. In order to receive continuing education credit, you must take and pass the post tests. Each post test that is passed will provide a certificate for .4 AOTA CEUs (4 contact hours). You can complete as many of the 6 tests as you like and earn up to 24 contact hours (2.4 CEUs).
A discussion board is also provided within each course module. The intent of the discussion board is to reach out to others who are also reviewing and planning to sit for the exam. Learners can assist each other through topic discussion, answering questions, recommending resources and of course, providing moral support.
