PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Fibromyalgia is a complex condition that affects approximately 4 million adults in the United States. The widespread pain causes chronic pain, fatigue, and other symptoms that result in a decreased quality of life. Often, fibromyalgia is a secondary diagnosis seen in rehab settings and can be overlooked. This webinar will help you gain an understanding of fibromyalgia and how occupational therapists can play a pivotal role in its treatment and the overall performance outcomes of those living with it.
