PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Caregiver training can improve occupational therapy plan of care carryover and enhance treatment outcomes, but getting reimbursed for this service can be challenging—especially when the patient cannot be present for the session. New CPT codes to capture caregiver training without the patient present become effective January 1, 2024, offering new opportunities for reimbursement for this important aspect of care. This webinar will provide participants with the knowledge needed to accurately deliver, document, code, and bill caregiver training services across client populations served by occupational therapy practitioners.
