Product Overview

Burnout, compassion fatigue, grief…which of these have you experienced lately? This workshop will focus on defining the differences of each and taking a proactive and structured approach to identifying compassion satisfaction and self-care. There will be purposeful check-ins and breaks to allow for safe processing and discussions. Participants will leave with a self-care plan which can be implemented alone, or as an OT/OTA partnership.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Identify the differences between compassion fatigue, burnout, and secondary trauma.
  2. Identify compassion satisfaction and how to incorporate it into OT/OTA work.
  3. Develop a self-care plan based on strategies learned during the course.
