PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This on camera conversation between an occupational therapist and a psychologist will explore current issues in multicultural mental health.  The speakers, experts in their practice areas, will discuss timely issues and responsive innovations in cultural diversity, cultural sensitivity, access, disparities, and opportunities.  Their observations and insights will resonate with and inspire practitioners in the field.

  • Identify and reflect upon current issues and innovations in multicultural mental health, including disparities, access, and opportunities. 
  • Describe and apply strategies to improve access to and outcomes of multicultural mental health including cultural awareness, cultural sensitivity, and effective advocacy.
