Occupational therapists are challenged by reduced patient engagement, repetition, and clinical gain. Robotics can enhance the effectiveness of treatment by increasing engagement, repetition, and safety for both patient and clinician.

Ashley Gatewood, MOT, OTR/L, CSRS

Ashley Gatewood serves as the Clinical UX Manager for Barrett Medical. She has been an occupational therapist for 10 years. Her clinical experience has been working with adults with neurological injuries. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist. She has a history of working as a clinical manager in the medical device industry and is skilled in neurological injuries/disease, traumatic brain injury, patient education, and client experience. She has presented at the national level with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Gatewood is a strong health care service professional with a master's focused in occupational therapy. She earned her bachelor's and master's degree from West Virginia University.
