Course Description
Cultural humility is an essential aspect of occupational therapy, with its significance extending beyond clinical practice into educational settings. This course aims to enhance occupational therapy (OT) and occupational therapy assistant (OTA) educators’ understanding of cultural humility in academic settings, emphasizing the importance of honoring cultural humility principles in education. It explores key elements for developing a culturally inclusive classroom and offers strategies for modeling and demonstrating cultural humility in teaching practices.
