A panel of occupational therapy private practice owners from across the country will share how they have adapted their businesses in response to the pandemic. Panelists will describe implementing telehealth services across private practice settings including pediatric home health, schools, outpatient hand therapy, and adult rehabilitation. The webinar will focus on how these practices have been able to navigate payment policy changes while at the same time transition their practices to provide services via telehealth.
Objectives
Following this session the participant will be able to:
· Describe a game plan for incorporating telehealth into practice
· Identify the legalities surrounding telehealth implementation
· Discuss payment, documentation, and coding considerations
· Identify resources to help navigate changing rules and regulations regarding provision of telehealth
· Identify the decision making process with regard to selecting the right telehealth platform and telehealth training for your practice
· Determine the right assessment, evaluation, and treatment
