This webcast provides a brief overview of key factors to consider when working with children and encourages occupational therapy practitioners to examine their knowledge and skills to help identify areas for further professional development. The webcast provides an overview of factors relating to the person, tasks and environment that are important to consider when undertaking clinical reasoning during a home modification process with children, their families and other stakeholders. Included is a discussion about the difference between recommending home modifications for children compared to adults.  A summary of typical environmental barriers and solutions is provided in addition to resources to assist clinical practice.
