Explore 30 assistive technology solutions that can be created in minutes to support individuals who experience vision loss. Learn every day tools and materials for creating portable scan and read stations; tactile overlays; light boxes; hands free magnification solutions and more.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to identify at least 5 materials that can be used to create solution for blind and low vision impairments.
2. Participants will be able to describe at least 5 solutions that can be created using everyday materials to support vision loss.
3. Participants will be able to describe at least 3 iPAD adaptations to support individuals who experience a vision loss.
4. Participants will be able to list at least three resources for obtaining the tools and materials described during the training.
