Earners of the Occupational Therapy Low Vision–Level II badge have successfully demonstrated an understanding of the unique needs of older adults with low vision in safely and independently engaging in desired occupations. Earners of this badge understand the causes of low vision and the impact of low vision on occupational performance. They are also skilled in effective interventions including optical devices and strategies for environmental adaptations. In addition, earners of the level II badge are also aware of the low vision assessment process and how it impacts treatment planning and occupational therapy intervention for those who have low vision deficits.
