How secure is AOTA's Store?

AOTA uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and does not release it to any outside organization. You can place your orders using SSL encryption (the Internet standard for secure transactions).

Your order information and purchase history are protected by a login name and password that you set. If you forget your password, the web site has a mechanism allowing you to reset your password.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit Cards

The AOTA online store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for payment of orders.

Purchase Orders

Purchase orders are not accepted online, however customers can order products using a Purchase Order. All Purchase Orders must be for $40 or more in order to be billed on a net 30 basis, provided customer’s credit is in "good standing". Orders under $40 require payment.

What are the shipping and handling charges?

What shipping methods are available?

The products ordered online are shipped from our warehouse in Duluth, GA.

Products are shipped via UPS.

What are the technical requirements for AOTA’s CE courses?

What You Need To Participate:

  • Computer with Windows XP or higher or Mac OSX or higher
  • Updated mobile tablet with current Android or iOS browser
  • Current version of internet browsers (Internet Explorer [IE] 7 or higher, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome)
    • For all browsers you will need to have JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, and Cookies enabled. Turn off pop-up blockers for online courses.
  • Internet connection at 56 kbps and above is acceptable; broadband access will improve the learning experience.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader for pdf content. If needed, download a free copy here.
  • Adobe Flash required for webcasts (webcasts are not supported on iPad). If needed, download a free copy here.
  • A DVD player for courses with CDs or DVDs (CD will play in DVD player).
How will I receive my CE certificate?

Immediately upon successful completion of the examination, you will be able to print your electronic CE certificate. If you need a certificate by mail, please see the course content for details.

Can I retake my exam if I do not successfully pass it the first time?

If you are not successful in passing the exam, you can retake the exam at no additional fee. If necessary, you can retake the exam at 2 additional times for the fee of $25.

How quickly will I receive my order?

You have instant access online to continuing education CE Articles and Online Courses. Orders for Self-Paced Clinical Courses (SPCCs), CEonCD™s , and publications are received and processed on the next business day. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday will be processed on the next business day, and be shipped within 2 business days. U.S. and Canadian customers will then receive orders within 2 weeks and other countries within 3 weeks.

BOOK RETURN POLICY

Returns accepted within 30 days of invoice date for a full refund on purchase price less S&H. Returns received between 30 & 90 days are subject to a 10% restocking fee, unless due to damage, defect or incorrect shipment. Items must be returned in saleable condition.

CONTINUING EDUCATION RETURN POLICY

Please review your selected CEonCD course description and learning objectives carefully before you place your order. All product returns, except those due to damage or defect, must be in resalable condition with no seals open, broken, or tampered with, and will incur an administrative fee of 10% of the product price regardless of the return date. Product returns due to damage, defect, or incorrect shipping, will not incur an administrative fee. No refunds are issued after 90 days. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Defective CDs will be replaced with a new copy. To receive a replacement copy, an email must be sent to cedept@aota.org to determine that it is not an accessibility issue. If determined to be defective, then mail the CEonCD in its original envelope, marked “Return,” and address it to AOTA Receiving 3280 Summit Ridge Parkway, Duluth, GA 20096. SPCC RETURN POLICY

Please review your selected SPCC course description and learning objectives carefully before you place your order. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 90 days. An administrative fee of 10% of the product price will be charged unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped product. All items except damaged or defective products must be returned in saleable condition. No refunds are issued after 90 days. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
